If you have interest in becoming a precinct official please contact the Auditor's office. Under Iowa law, the Democratic and Republican parties are to provide lists of names to be used for precinct officials. That does not happen in Crawford County, so the Auditor's office is normally looking for individuals interested in working the polling locations. You must be willing to work long hours. We are required to have at least a majority of our workers registered with either the Democratic or Republican Party.
